Curassow Amazon Lodge is a rustic hotel located in the Jungle, situated on a stream of the Amazon River. The lodge is accessible only by boat a 3-hour ride from Iquitos.
Bungalows are all fitted with private bathrooms with showers, 24-hour running water and free toiletries. Additionally they are equipped with mosquito netting and are lit with kerosene lamps. The all have a magnificent jungle and river view.
Rates here are all-inclusive, including breakfast, lunch and dinner, a guide and river and jungle expeditions. Additionally, transportation from the airport to the hotel is provided.
At Curassow Amazon Lodge guests will find a 24-hour front desk. Other facilities offered include meeting facilities, a games room and a tour desk. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including fishing, canoeing, hiking and day-time and night-time excursions ideal for observing the wildlife.
Please note that in order to guarantee your reservation, a prepayment deposit of 30% of the total of your reservation is required via bank transfer, PayPal or Western Union. The remaining amount must be paid upon arrival, preferably in cash. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.
Please note that for arrival to the property, boats depart from Iquitos at 09:30 and return to the city at 13:00 daily. For this reason, guests must arrive to Iquitos at least 1 day prior to the start of the programme, or on the same day but before 08:30. Guests' return flight must depart at least 1 day after the programme has ended, or on the same day after 18:30. Alternatively, a private boat can be hired for a fee of 500 Soles.
Curassow Amazon Lodge is located 100 km from Iquitos and is only accesible by the property's private transport. Curassow Amazon Lodge has an office in Iquitos city centre.
A complimentary round trip shuttle service is provided for guests. Curassow Amazon Lodge will pick up guests in their hotel in Iquitos.
Please note all the electricity at the property is generated by solar panels and is available for use 24-hours a day. Electricity is exclusively used to charge batteries.
